that every time we talk about something on this site, it later shows up in Lucky?  Case-in-point, our discussion about wide-calf boots about a month or 2 ago.  And what is featured on p. 90 of the new Lucky?  Yep.   Same with peacock feathers, which are also mentioned in this issue.

I've noticed this happening on several occasions, but I'm just now mentioning it.  Anyone else think there's a mole on here?  Who is it????

I notice this too!  About 2 months ago they showed the SM Weaverrs that we had all talked about starting in spring!   I still haven't got my Lucky in the mail yet , as per usual.  Target is NOT supposed to get it before I do...

If there is a mole, how come they have not taken our advice and offered more reasonably priced clothing. I used to covet my Lucky mags. Now i look through them maybe twice and give them away.

I'm tired of the cheap hokey advertisements in the middle ( I guess these pay the bills).

The earlier editions were so original.  What happened to the originality.  I liked the home section they used to have. Domino just isnt doing the trick.  I dont want to see how some poor girl could not figure out how to decorate her living room so she hired a designer to do it. I want to see the clever girl who furnished her living room with great finds on ebay or flea markets or discount stores.

Sorry to rant!!!

YES!!!!!  God, I hate that in decorating mags, too!!!!  They show the photos and then talk like the owner did all this on her own, when it was really some high-priced designer who found all the magnificent things!  That's cheating!

yeah, I agree with this.  I think it's just coincidence that they have some of the same fashion finds, if they were really trying to improve based on what gals on this site thought, they would FIRST think about price.  And featuring one cheap find here and there does not cut it.  I understand that fashion and quality aren't always cheap, but being a "shopping" magazine, they should really feature more affordable stuff, therefore maximizing the "shopping trip."

I completely agree.  A lot of us were on the Lucky forum about 4 or 5 yrs. ago and that's when it started.  Then came Fashion Hag and now, ST.  It appears that they are stalking us to rip off our ideas.   Ok, that is a little extreme using "stalking" to describe the behavior, but you get the gist of it.  We should get royalties, by golly, because we're contributing and not being compensated. j/k

Good grief, I just realized I have been chatting with some of you gals for 4+ years!  That's longer than some of the friendships I have had. LOL

I got my Nov Lucky yesterday, and it truly isn't that great.  I only marked one thing in it and that was the peacock accessories which had already been talked about on here.  Also, honestly, some of the clothing doesn't fit the models well--not very good advertisement.

I've noticed the same thing. Their editors do seem to be having difficulty coming up with their own original ideas. Although, I must say I thought this one from the latest Lucky was pretty original: "Faux leather and discreet gold detailing ensure that this [bag] will only get better with age". Wtf! Faux leather will only get better with age?

Hmmmm.....I hadn't noticed it (yet), but I also haven't picked up the Nov. issue of Lucky, LOL, I'll have to check it out. I guess I'm not into it that much anymore, not like I use to be.
