I have these heels from Banana Republic (they are a light grayish/silver) and I'm not sure what kind of socks/tights to wear w/them when I wear them w/pants or jeans.  I'm having issues because of the color - I obviously can't wear dark colored trouser socks - what do I wear?  Light colored trouser socks?  Fishnets?  Help!

The problem is they'd have to be a really light gray. I tried a medium gray w/them today and it looked awful because they're too dark.


Any other suggestions?

ShopChicago, I had a kinda similar question (my post was called "mary jane shoe question" and might still be on page 1) and LMonet thought I might be able to wear the shoes without any socks or tights underneath if I was wearing them with pants. Maybe you could get away with it too...?

See the problem is I live in Chicago and once winter hits, I can't not wear some sort of socks - I'd freeze.  I don't like the idea of tights under pants - uncomfortable.


Would something like this work maybe?
