is your chest larger than the rest of your body? this is my problem and it makes it darn near impossible to find a dress that fits. my best advice to you is to find a 2-piece dress. i've gotten pretty ones from nanette lepore and tracey reese, both of which are sold at bloomingdale's. also, try maxstudio--their stuff is usually a little less fitted in the top part, and you can get the waist and hips taken in. i hope that helps a littel bit--i feel your pain.

I was having the exact same problem. Needed a dress for a wedding but couldn't find one because nothing fit correctly (I've got a large chest). A lot of the dresses that fit would have required a backless bra which wouldn't work for me. I actually had good luck finding a dress a bloomingdales. I ended up with a strapless max studio dress that I'm planning to wear either with a sweater or blazer.

Yes...I've got a large chest, and it sucks! I was almost in tears in the dressing room. Ugh!

That's two votes for Bloomingdales. Unfortunately I don't have one near me. I'll check their website and see if there's anything there. Thank you!

Did you try the one from J Crew that I got?? I have a 34D chest and a smaller waist and it fit to pefection. I'm sorry your not having any luck. But when you head to the mall think positive. I find that if I go in there thinking negative then I end up with negative results. You'll find something! Good luck!

Yeah, I ordered the same dress in Jade. The waist fit perfectly...couldn't get it zipped over the boobs. But you're right. I'm going back to the mall tomorrow and make a fresh start. There has to be something there...thanks.
