Accessorize this dress
Permalink Closed

I just bought this max studio dress for a 3:30 wedding this weekend (I had posted earlier about Phoebe by Kay Unger dress I had planned on wearing but it didn't end up working because I couldn't find a bra that worked).  So I bought this dress last night.  How would you accessorize it?  I will need some sort of cover up because the ceremony is outside and I tend to get cold.

I've got this teal banana republic sweater.

I also have a red, green, and pink cardigan.  I've also had my eye on a teal velvet blazer that I could get.  I'm also willing to get something new.

What about shoes?  These are some of the shoes I have:

Not sure if metallic would be too formal for an afternoon event though.  I could get new shoes but I don't want to spend more than $60 or so.  Any suggestions you all could provide would be great

I like the Target Shoes with that. I wore something similiar to my reunion this past weekend and I wore a twill jacket to dress it down, so I think that sweater will be perfect for a wedding. I accessorized with a long beaded necklace, but I think that would compete with the sweater being closed. So maybe just some fun earrings and a bracelet? Sometimes just simple hoops work.

I would go with the velvet blazer or the teal sweater.  And the bronze shoes (first pair).
