A question for the Mamas (and preggos)

So, I know alot of us have problems with pants and jeans gapping at the waist.  Something I've always wondered about is, would pants like these work for early/mid maternity wear?  Or is there some sort of obvious reason that wouldn't work that I'm missing?  Just curious .

No, and good thing!  If I were my due date would be precariously close to my wedding day ...

I got through my pregnancy in low rise pants.  I carried high enough that it worked for me...but of course the one caution is...wear a LONG shirt!
