I'm looking to spend around $100 on some black boots.  Here are some I've found so far.  Any other suggestions?

They all look really nice...do you need them for a particular purpose (dress, casual, weather...).  I might go with either the first or third though

kittenheels-I mainly just want them to work with skirts or dresses in the winter.  It doesn't get too terribly cold where I live, but too cold to wear skirts and heels.

Shopchicago-I was thinking the boot in the first picture was maybe flattened out?  If not, then yes the calf area would be HUGE!


I think I'm leaning toward 2 or 3 the most, just depends on whether I want round or pointed toes.

Regarding choices 2 and 3, I think 3 is more sophisticated and versatile because it is more of a pointy-round toe.  They would look great with skirts.

Thanks for all your help ladies.  I'm thinking I'll probably buy #3.


#1 isn't real leather so I've ruled it out because I want a boot that'll last.


#2 the heel looks really skinny


#4 looks too plain


I'll let you know when I buy it and post a review!
