i'd like to be able to wear them to work and obviously on the weekends, but I'm an atty and have to dress conservatively....so, any ways to work(ha ha) these in ladies?

umm, ok, they're not on the jcrew site anymore, but they're dark brown, mid-height, flat boots.

while i was on the site i thought i'd show you girls whatelse i got (to go w/my new brown pants suit...also, jcrew)....

i know, i know, black is back and i promise i am TOALLY embracing it, but i've always loved warm chocolate browns...chocolate really. but that's a post for another time....

jump, or bump, or whatever word we're supposed to use to re-start a topic we posted.

I could really use some advice from you on the flat boot issue.

Any ideas on what length skirts would be best?

I would do knee high skirts or longer skirts with them.

I think I remember which boots you're talking about and they are very classic and thus good for both work and play.  And love the pumps, very pretty.  I bet you have a great shoe collection, you always post really great shoes
