My advice is not send those emails Irene. They could be construed the wrong way and if you are having a problem with your supervisor you do not want to add any fuel to the fire. You need to go directly to HR. That way they can work the problem out with your boss and coworker at the same time and if negative things keep happening to you HR will know that it is not your fault if the boss ever tries to get rid of you. It is all about covering your ass.

Farrah, I get what you are saying. I was told by people here, non HR people, that I should create a paper trail to CYA. I work at a large corporate bank btw NUNZI.
So you think I should just go to HR. I have been there 3 times already. I am planning on going again anyway. So you think I should just go talk to the HR rep?
I would hold off on writing the letters. I would think that by going to the HR department, you are creating a paper trail there. They should be keeping a record of your complaints. I sincerely think that by sending these letters you are taking matters into your own hands where you may not have the right to do so. I would definately try to place your trust in HR.
These things often take time. Good luck and let us know what you decide to do.
irene, i wouldn't send those email either. maybe just keep a personal record of what has been bothering you. i just feel like the emails are a bit harsh; especially to your boss. while i know i would make you feel better, maybe just go talk to them. things in writing scare me.

I agree with this. Dont send the emails. Just go directly to someone in HR. If someone was attacking you in a meeting, the LAST thing you should do is retaliate by attacking them in an email. Both of the emails are too harsh.. Maybe take another day to cool down and then think it through again.
You mention harassment in your emails.. The recipients of the emails could then say that you are harassing them and they have proof in writing.
Playing these games is NOT something you want to get involved in. Go above them.. be the bigger person.. be more mature than them.. Stay calm and go directly to HR.
HTH! and Good luck!
What happened exactly in that meeting? Do you want to share?
Thanks ladies. I just spoke to an admin here who used to work in HR and she told me not to send the emails, rather just go to HR. So I will do that. Thanks!
