Ok so I'm finally starting to shop for the Honeymoon. I need 3 weeks worth of Safari clothes. Must be in neutral colors, khakis, greens etc. Doesn't necessarily have to be set safari clothes just things I could get away with wearing on safari and still look kinda cute. Can you girls help?

OMG - this is going to be fun - do you have any store preference? Like do you hate forever21 or anything? can you wear camo? Looking for cheaper items / what is your price point?

nope, but where are you going?! sounds sooo cool. FH wants to go to Paris (bo-oring), I want to go someplace cool (like Thailand). Either way, we won't be going until at least Jan. so I have time to convince him... now a safari sounds cool.

No price point though I prefer nicer stuff. I don't want to look cheap because the places we are staying are very very nice. No store preferences either except I don't have time to order online, I've waited way too long to start doing this!
I love Choo we're going to South Africa so I need stuff that can be worn hiking and in big game seeing. Nothing too cutesy I just don't want to look totally ridiculous!

Just a note, I'd recommend dressing in layers for your safari. I was just in S.A. about six months ago and when we went on game drives in the evening, it got very chilly.
Have a wonderful trip! Its a wonderful country, I'd love to go back!
I forgot to add something *semi* related. Friends of mine spent a few days before and after their safari in Cape Town. While they were there at the beginning, she met with a jeweler and designed a platinum ring with regular diamonds and black diamonds. Then they went on safari and she picked up the ring when they returned to Cape Town two weeks later. Her ring is gorgeous, a total bargain, and such a cool way to remember their trip. Just a thought!
HAVE FUN!!! I went 4 years ago w/my family and it would have been the MOST romantic trip of my life...besides my honeymoon. honestly I LOVED it!
it was also my UGLIEST fashion moment ever! You DO NOT need to only wear what they tell you. People on my trip who had been before wore white and whatever other colors they (the tour guides) tell you not to wear....it made NO difference. no lions attacked our jeep...we were fine. they all looked great and we (my family) looked shlumpy-gross-eeewww.
Depending on what tour you're going with it can be quite formal...since most of the countries w/safari are former colonies they are still quite "civilized" butlers, helpers, etc....
wear only what you are really comfortable in. it's HOT and DIRTY. you're sitting in a bouncy jeep for hours and it gets really dusty.
the whole trip was fantastic. Please write us all and tell us (almost) every detail!!!!
ps. jj, your friend's ring sounds GORGEOUS! and the perfect momento...
