So I was all set on the chocolate Bulga, but Girl Shop has actually taken them off of the site during the 30% off code (which makes them seem quite deceitful and makes me never want to shop there again) and Testimo won't honor the code because of this. So the most that I can get off of the bag is 15% which brings the bag to 403.75. Seeing as how this was supposed to be a better alternative to the BR bag (for almost the same price) I decided to look at the Tano bags after reading how much FashionPrincess loves hers. I found this one for $215 and I am really digging it. It seems like a very different look that I won't see a ton of places. Do you think that it is equally or more cool than the Bulga? I would appreciate any opinions that you ladies might have. TIA!!

Yup, love my Tano!!! And I also love that style that you posted. And can't say enough about the customer service at musthavebag, fabulous!!! I think it is a good alternative to the Bulga.
the bag doesn't really do anything for me, i've seen other tano styles that i like more. also (and i swear i don't work for girlshop) everytime they have a code the bulgas sell out really fast. however i still see bulgas on their site. here's the link (though it's backordered until next week). maybe call them, iirc someone called and they said they would honor the code on backordered stuff.
i love Tanos, and i'm not a big fan of Bulgas, so i'm kind of biased. I'm not crazy about that particular bag though- any others that you are looking at?

I called and they said that they wouldn't honor the code if the bag wasn't in.

I also like this one.

okay then they suck, and i prefer the 2nd tano you posted.
i like the second one better also, but i do like the first one. i just think the second one is less fussy without all the little doodads on it, so it might be more versatile, but they are both cute. good alternative to bulga, which is becoming a little ubiquitous anyway.
those two bags aren't really doing it for me, especially given your amazing bag collection. i love this one that TexasGal posted a while ago. it kinda reminds me of Bulga bags. just thought i'd share.
both are around $300 (left is $318 and the right is $298) free shipping. they are handmaid by michelle frantz (also on girlshop's webpage, but not these particular bags).

Thanks for this Christine. I actually am a total freak and I looove big bags so this may be great for me. Living in the city I carry my whole life everywhere with me (book, magazine, umbrella, makeup bag) so a big bag is a bit of a necessity. I also do not plan to carry it out at night. I have other bags for that.
shopgirl82 - thanks for the other bags that you posted, but they just don't do it for me. I think it is the stitching on the front pockets or something.

Farrah - I really like the Tano bag you posted. I'm not a fan of the Bulgas either, and even though I originally told you to buy the BR bag, I saw it IRL the other day and I didn't like it at all. I think the Tano bag would be your best choice.
Farrah, I had the second bag you posted and it was beautiful. I would have kept it but it was way too big for me. Pay attention to the dimensions and don't be a dope like me! Haha. Just be aware of the potential overwhelming effect of a BIG bag on your small frame. Great service and great quality though.

Actually I really love the first bag you posted. i think it's cool and it doesn't look like everything else that I've seen recently. I know I'm in the minority but I prefer it to the second Tano you posted.
I like all of the Tano bags, but if I had to pick, it would be a TOUGH decision between the first one (I think the embellishment is really cute and different, like tri_sarah_tops) or the one Lynnie posted.
I love the second Tano, so I am hoping you get it, but that's also cause I have a personal thing against Bulgas, so I don't know if my opinion counts in that case.
