oh crapola--i hate intuition. thank you for finding them, though. those are the ones. they might be a good alternative to the miss sixties, don't you think? and about $100 less!

i live close enough that i could go into intuition instead of dealing with online ordering. maybe i will try that.

I think they'd be a great alternative to the Miss Sixtie's - they are really cute and such a good price! Plus, Seychelles tends to be pretty comfy. Maybe you can call the B+M store and see if they have them before you drive out there? I don't trust ordering from them at all.

well...i just called intuition and the girl was spectacularly un-helpful (as i expected) and said that they didn't have the boots in stock and she had no idea whether they ever did or would again.

so i called the website # and the lady was much nicer--she said it will take 2-3 weeks to get them in, but they are getting them, and she gave me a code for my trouble that would take 20% off my total. so that will cover the exorbitant $15 shipping fee (for UPS Ground in the same state!).

should i risk it? honest opinions please...

i just ordered three things from there recently and had no real problem. i got the first two as expected, the third was backordered (which i knew about) and i should receive at the end of sept. i was also hesitant, but the lady online was super helpful. the only real problem that i ran into was that they didn't apply my code, but the lady online said that she would honor it on my third item. so we'll see. i think it's worth a shot.

sheesh! How did you get a code out of her? Funny enough I put myself on the wait list for these boots just yesterday (great minds) I didn't get any code though! I'm certainly going to call back and ask :)

she gave it to me b/c i said that i had just called the retail store and they were really unhelpful. she said it was "for my trouble" because i had jumped through several hoops to get to her.

hey ayo--have you seen the boots in real life? do you think that they will be wide enough at the top to tuck jeans inside? that was how i was planning on wearing them--i just hope they are large enough at the tops.

aahh ok I get it now :)...I can't really say I went through a lot of hassle...I just dialed the number in my instyle mag.

I've never seen the boots IRL...I'm hoping I can tuck my jeans in them too..will just have to see!
