Cheap Find, Keep or Return?

I got this for $6 at a local clothing discount store, too me, it resembled a tweedish plaid-ish blazer, but now I'm not so sure I should keep it.

What do y'all think?  Here's a Close-Up:

I think it is really cute.  I like the sleeves a lot.  How does it fit?  For $6, can you really go wrong?

I say keep it only if you replace the buttons - they date the blazer IMO.

I would keep it and replace the buttons. The jacket's shape is really cute and you're so cute and tiny...I bet it looks adorable on!

Good idea, what kind of buttons should I replace them with?

Brown velvet ones would be nice to match the belt, but they might be hard to find.

Try Jo-Anns fabrics or do a citysearch for specialty sewing/notions stores in your area.  Take your jacket with you when you go to look - I'm sure you'll find something you like!

I would definitely keep!

For $6, I think it's a great buy.

I remember watching one episode of The Cut that one of the ladies went to a button store.  Maybe you can find something like that online?
