To preface... I have hired a personal trainer and plan on dropping some pounds in the next 6 months. Being in a loving, comfortable relationship has made me chubby!!
Anyway, I tend to gain weight in my bottom half and am and always have been a medium in tops. But its pants size - that I really flucuate.
So, I went to Express today, looking for a pair of black pants.. Something that can last me for a few months, until I will need a smaller size.
Anyway, I am not a fan of the Editors and I never have been. They just don't fit me right, unfortunately. But the Corresponders, on the other hand, fit like a dream, I can even size down in these (which is always a good thing). I was having serious trouble finding them because they are pushing the Editors so badly, they hardly have any other pants! Anyway, I found a couple racks of Corresponders in the back room and they were all on sale for $29! I got two pairs and I can not rave about them enough.
Now heres my question.. Please please please tell me that Express is not getting rid of this style pant! I love the Corresponders and think it would be a really bad move for Express to only sell one style of pants in the whole store.
I asked the sales girl if they were getting rid of that style and she said she hadn't heard anything. I am just really concerned because they were SOOOO cheap and in the back room. And Editors everywhere I turn!
Can anyone confirm or deny? I may have a breakdown if they do away with my favorite pants. I'm getting all worked up just thinking about it!!
To be honest I don't know! They look awful on me so for the most part I avoid them. I do know that at our store, they have not been doing so well.
But I will ask our visual expert the next time I see her - she always knows the latest scoop. I'll PM you after I find out (I'll be gone this weekend but I'll ask her next week). HTH!

I also worked for Express until a couple months ago, but like you the correspondents fit me a lot better then the editors. But, I don't think that they are getting rid of them, I think it was more to get people to try them and buy them.
