For my cousin's wedding in April, she is asking bridesmaids to wear white or off-white shoes. First, here is the dress I'll be wearing:
(I'm probably going to tie the bow in the back)
I am looking for heels that are at or under 3" since I'll be in them all day long. And of course they have to work with the dress. But I also want some that will be versatile after the wedding, too. As silly as it sounds, that is the requirement I'm struggling the most with. I've had (and loved!) white wedges, but for some reason a white pump stumps me.
These are my favorites that I could find in my price range. Which ones do you like best?
Touch ups "Nona"
Nina "culver"
Touch ups "Nadia"
kelly&katie "Dahlia"
Caparros "Harriet"
(These last ones are Dyeables...a little pricier than I was hoping to spend BUT according to the internet I could dye them another color after the wedding. Although I have no idea where I could go to get that done - just a regular shoe repair shop?)
Dyeables "Love me Tender"
Colorful Creations "Pretty"

I feel your pain. Metallic sandals would have looked cute with the dress, but what can you do? Promise yourself a nice drink as soon as you hit the reception and kick the shoes off once the photos are finished.
Of the ones you posted, I like the Nina Culvers the best. They look like they might have the potential to be worn again.
I had to wear dyeable shoes for weddings in the past. They bleed something awful. I've had teal colored feet as well as emerald ones. I wouldn't get them and hope that you can dye them to get more use later. The minute any water (including sweat and since they are synthetic, your feet may sweat in them) hit the pairs I had, they were ruined.
I like how you've chosen several d'orsays. I agree with Boots on the Ninas, and I also like the Kelly&Katie pair. The K&K pair looks kind of silvery. Do you think they're really silver in real life?
I personally liked either nina "culver" or kelly & katie "Dahlia" with ruffle. I think off white will go better then white with this dress & can you do 2 1/2" heel? It more wearable, but still "evening" height.
I would avoid satin as well. Besides dyed shoes bleeding, the 2 pairs of dyeable brand shoes I've had to buy were by far the most uncomfortable shoes ever. I'd look for a white leather open toe high heeled shoe that is fairly plain so it can be worn more often. Nobody needs more than 1 pair of white pumps in my book, so I would stay away from something too stand-out-ish or memorable.
I think something along these lines would be ideal. They would look cute with dresses/skirts/ and ankle length pants in summer.
Yikes - good to know about dyables, especially since I was leaning that way!
In my search I did find several leather shoes that I liked (including a couple posted here, I think), the problem is that those heels are usually over 3"....and I was kind of setting 3" as my limit because I expect to be in these shoes about 12 hours straight (I'll kick them off when I can but with all the festivities planned I don't know how much "down time" my feet will have!). But man, I do love those Nine West ones...
You guys are right, white satin looks too bridal and maybe that's why I can't envision so many of these shoes in my daily life. I think I would be willing to go higher ($100?) on leather shoes that I thought I could wear again. I'm going to search with my new specifications and post if I come up with more!
(P.S. as an aside, I've noticed in my search that Badgley Mischka makes the prettiest wedding shoes!)

Thanks for your help, guys!! I ended up ordering the Jessica Simpson heels. More than I originally wanted to spend but if I can wear them after the wedding (which I think I will be able to) I'm OK with the price. Crossing my fingers I still like them in person!

Got them yesterday and they are awesome! I was worried the peep would be a little big (I'm super picky about peep toes) but somehow it doesn't bother me even though a peep this big usually would. My boyfriend even said "those are cute!" when he saw me trying them on. They seem comfortable from the few minutes I had them on (we'll see how I feel after the wedding, though...) Hooray! Thanks again ladies!

That's great! I'm glad to know her heels are comfy - her "Leve" flats are the most comfortable flats I've ever worn.
Hey alb...I've several pair of JS heels and love them. I bought the 'Brenda' style in black when she first came out with them, and have since continued to buy the brendas (2,3...) in every color/pattern that I like. I find them high, but wearable for a full office day. And I love that they don't have a platform.
