Wondering what everyone's favorite jeans are of late. Typically, seven for all mankind and hudson fit me well (I have booty), but I'm wondering if there's anything out there that I should check out. Must have some stretch. Suggestions, please?

I have no booty (well, I guess it would qualify as flat.) Strangely enough, Hudsons bootcuts are my go to jeans when I want to look good. The flaps give me some definition. They also don't give me "diaper butt" (lots of jeans have too much material for me where the butt meets the thigh so it looks saggy.) I think they have just enough Lycra to work for girls with a flat butt and those who have some definition. I lucked onto a never wore pair at a second hand store for $40 and got a second pair from NR for $70 a year later. Probably the best deals I've ever gotten
I also have a pair of 3 year old straight leg Target jeans that fit me well. And, while I hate to admit this, I have another straight leg pair from Arden B that I found brand new at the same second hand store as the Hudsons. In fact, I'm wearing them today. I had never visited an Arden B store before I found them and after my fist visit, never went back again. Not really my style (too Bebe-ish for me), but I love this particular pair of jeans.
But the pair that I would cry over if anything ever happened to them is an old, broken in pair of Blue Cult jeans that I slip on every day after work. They're like sweats for me.
It depends...I live in an old pair of Calvin Kleins (not CKs or whatever their other label is now). I have a great pair of Club Monaco jeans that fit fantastic 10 pounds ago. However I also like the two UO straight/skinny pairs I snagged on sale for $5 because you cannot beat $5 even at a thrift store.
Joe's are still my go-to for "nice" jeans, although I have a pair of True Religions that I like, too. But for cheaper stuff, I have to say that H&Ms denim has improved a lot over the past year or so. They have some straight leg, wide leg, and skinny styles that have all worked for me.
For going out my faves are Citizens of Humanity. True Religions look good but the ones I have (skinnies) are not as soft and don't have a lot of lycra in them so not as much stretch as the COHs. For "every day" I really love my dark skinny jeans from the Gap - I wear them way too much! Thinking about getting another pr. Surprisingly, F21 also has good (and ridiculously cheap) skinny jeans. I had a pr that were my "go to" skinny jeans until I went back to the States and got some more TRS, COHs and the Gap ones. Now they still fit well but the color has faded a bit. They lasted a long time, however, and I still wear them on oaccasion when bumming around or doing errands.
I've never really gotten into the premium jeans arena, except that I have a pair of AG's that I got for a ludicrous price on Gilt ($38). My fave jeans have been the Lucky Brand Sundown, but they're not produced anymore. Wow - - I should have just let this thread alone! Good luck with your denim purchase!
I am short/petite and no booty/no nothing. I like AG and I found this pair at the consignment store called Plastic by Sky. Never heard of them but they are like the best jeans ever.
I really like lucky brand too, including their whole line. I have a few of their bags too and they are the softest, thickest leather and I love that they are vintage inspired.
I should check out ags. they tend to not accommodate my booty though. And thanks for the f21 tip, alb -- I might check that out for bumming around jeans. I want something comfortable for around the house too.
I do want to get some high-end jeans eventually. I really do think there is a difference in the quality and fit. My old favorites tore (sfam bootcut ny wash - I wore them to death over a period of 5 years!)

I have a booty too and I love Lucky jeans! Plus most of the ones I have are just a bit over $100 as opposed to $200+.
I also still find some steals at Gap. It's hit or miss but I find that they hold up well for me and sometimes I stumble on a great sale. Otherwise I just randomly try on denim and sometimes a pair just works. I have a fun pair from Macy's that I always get compliments on, and I just found a pair at Charlotte Russe!

I'm obsessed with AG Stevie Slim Straights - they are great. So soft, comfy, and the perfect slim leg. Also, I second alb with the f21 skinny jean suggestion. They are my go to skinnies and under $15 a pair!
