Help me protect this bag, and maybe suggest some outfits...

What is the best leather protector for a lambskin bag?  I've already had a problem with a nude-y pink bag and color transfer and I want to save this one from the same fate.  It's lambskin with suede interior:
Also can you think of any colors or better yet suggest outfits that this bag will work well with?  I'm thinking greys, ivory, peachy pinks, and neutrals.  Any other suggestions?

I would use some type of scotchguard for leather, I guess. Personally, I'd wing it because I'd be afraid anything I put on would damage it.

I think it could look great with olive or red...

I use a leather cleaner and protector that I bought at my local shoe repair shop. I don't think that will protect from color transfer, though. You might check the purse forum discussions of this issue - there are definitely a lot over there which I found helpful when I was looking for a protector for my bag.

No idea how to protect the bag, but it is beautiful! I'd like it with a navy or dark purple in addition to the colors already listed.

I've never had lambskin, so I don't really have much to offer advice-wise. The Purse Forum is a good place to check out for that.

The bag is so pretty. It looks soft and squishy. Plus that's a great way to use a soft pastel color for Spring. I'd wear it with other tones of blue, gray and ivory.
