Do any of you know Japanese?

This semester I am taking Japanese.We got are first homework assignment yesterday.I have to write English words in Japanese.My question is.I know that watashi means I,but can it also mean my?If not,what is the Japanese word for my?

i know a few words..


but i *think* it could be mai


but then again, that could mean 'luggage' for all i know.


i know how to count, and the usual hello, goodbye, thank you, please, yes, no, ect.

as far as i remember, watashi is the noun, and to make it into 'my', you add 'no' at the end.


sooo, watashino = my


eg. watashino namae (name) = my name

I'm pretty sure this is right.  I can't speak the language well but if I really listen I can understand a lot of it (I used to live there).
