I have a Coach bag that I carry to/from work everyday. This isn't the bag, but this is what the straps look like and the length of them:
As you can see, the straps are pretty short in length, so the bag sits right under my underarm. I've noticed that this is causing a strain on my neck and shoulders. I need to get new, longer straps. Do any of you know if Coach has straps I'd be able to purchase? Can you do that there, or will I need to go somewhere else, and if so where? Btw - the straps come right off - and you can definitely put new ones on as long as they have the holes. Thanks ladies.
No they do not sell straps. The only way you could get a strap is if you had a bag that the straps broke on, and sent it in and they replaced. The only bags now that even have detachable straps are the slim duffles and they are this way so that you double the strap to make it a shoulder bag.

My bag, which is like a business tote, has detachable straps. There are two and I'm able to take them off...which is why I figured I could replace them w/something a little longer.
Hmmmm....tough one. I'm wondering if you take it to a shoe repair place if they'd be able to make you new straps that look just like the old ones. I think it could be worthwhile to call Coach or take your bag to the store and explain the problem. I'm positive you're not the first person to have a problem like this, so they may be able to do something. You might be able to buy straps for another bag that you can put on yours. Coach is known for good customer service, so they'll probably do whatever they can to help. Good luck!
