I'm sorry, I don't really like it either although I can't exactly figure out what it is I don't like about it. I think it's the color and the knit.

There is something very endearing about the shape and I do see its appeal (much like I saw the appeal of the Marc by Marc Jacobs sweater cape from last year that most of this board hated), but the knit doesn't look like it's high quality and the button placement feels off to me.
