a letter of complaint?
Permalink Closed

So at the gas station I frequent, one of the employees- a tubby, gross middleaged loser- is constantly making comments about how I look when ever i go in there. At first I didn't even realize that he did work there b/c he never works, I thought he was just some weirdo hanging around the gas station. He never says anything mean or explicit or disgusting or anything like that, but he always tells me how pretty and beautiful (etc) he thinks I am. It never seems sincere though, like there is a lecherous undertone and it really freaks me out. Since this has happend multiple times I feel like I should complain, if it keeps happening I am not going to buy gas there any longer.

So I am posting this letter to the management- what do you think? Is it ok?

                                *************************

To whom it may concern;

            As a loyal customer, I feel that you should be aware of a situation occurring at your location on 19 Street.

            On multiple occasions over the past few months, I have been treated very inappropriately by one of your employees.  The most recent occurrence was in the afternoon of August 31, 2005.  While in your store to pay for my gas, this employee has directed unwelcome lecherous comments towards me.  I do not believe that this is an appropriate way to treat customers and I feel very uncomfortable about returning to your store.

            Should such harassment continue, I will no longer be a patron of your station.  If you wish to resolve this situation or discuss it further I can be reached at *my phone number* or via email

Sincerely

Natalie *the Brazen Canadian*

That's a good letter.  Do you think you should describe the employee in the letter?

I thought of that but I didn't know how to describe him without the words "fat" "loser" "dumbass". Its a pretty small outfit, I'm sure they'll be able to sort out who it is.

Whoa, my font got all buggered up.

ha ha. You could say "rather large underachieving person with limited cognitive skills"

All jokng aside you should def complain. Unacceptable actions should be dealt with.

OMG - I am dying laughing! That's hysterical.

I think it's a great letter & good for you. How else would they know unless someone tells them.

I would definately send the letter too. And I have to say I'm cracking up at your use of the word "buggered". LMAO!

I definitely think you should send the letter, but is there any way you don't have to go inside to pay?  Is there an ATM outside?
