STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

So I'm thinking about my fall wardrobe and how I really want to buy pieces that will last me a while. I'd rather blow my budget on a few things that will work well with my existing wardrobe than a bunch of pieces I'll throw away by March.

Now I want Campers! I'm thinking of getting a brown pair of boots from them if they fit up my calves and I want a pair of brown shoes from them that I'll wear casually, but that I can get away with at work. So have I gone insane or is this a good idea? I think they run around $150 in-store, but I guess I could try to get a deal on EBay or wait out for a sale at the Camper store in LA. Thoughts?

Is it bad of me that part of the reason I want these is because they remind me of the episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where Larry goes to Barenys and has the whole thing iwth the evil shoe salesman there?
