I love the lighter tights and shoes with the darker skirt and shirt.  It also serves to highlight the light colored embellishments on the sweater.

Thank you readers for all of the helpful tips regarding my post yesterday where I posed the question: how do I remove dirt marks from suede and scuffs from leather boots?
I received a ton of helpful answers. Here are the results:

I tried the tip of 1 part vinegar, 1 part water to remove the dirt from my Uggs. Followed by a suede brush. It worked like a charm, and my Uggs are good as new!

I tried shoe polish on my black Kaden boots and it didn't do a thing. So I moved onto the Black Sharpie and guess what? Bye bye scuffs! The sharpie covered them right up!

Next, I went to work on my Target Taupe Kachiri Boots. *Sigh*. Here's where my tale of woe starts. I used the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser just like you girls suggested. I tried it dry and nothing. So I wet it just a touch. I was super gentle and light with it, and guess what? It still removed some of the color from my beloved boots. I'm so sad. So now what do I do readers? Try to find a shoe cream that matches the color of the boots (which is a bit difficult - I mean are they taupe? Are they gray?), take them to the shoe repair place and see if they can bring the color back, or get really crazy and buy a new pair. Any suggestions? I promise I won't be so needy next week!

Speaking of scuffs and marks on suede. Elise, you're a genius my dear. Yesterday, Elise recommended using a Pink Pearl eraser on suede. Wearing these shoes today, that eraser trick sure came in handy! I erased the scuffs on these puppies right out!
Alright, now I know what you're probably thinking. You've seen this outfit before. Why yes readers, yes you have. I wore it a few weeks ago. Buuuuuuut, and this is a BIG but, last time I wore it, I didn't have these fabulous tights or shoes on with it. So it's just like a new outfit, see?!

No problem! Maybe some STers might have suggestions for your shoes too.  Did you use the pink pearl on your uggs?

Thanks your the tips! I have some suede boots that I don't get to wear too much because of fear of scuffing. I'll have to try the vinegar and brush trick (the brush on it's own does nothing as far as I can tell.)

Shopchicago33- I love those shoes. They look so perfectly light and wintery with the tights.

D - I used the pink pearl on the wedges I'm wearing in these photos and it worked!
On my Uggs, I used the 1 part water, 1 part vinegar solution and it took the dirt right off.

Boots - thank you!  I highly rec the Bakers shoes!
