finding dresses

I was in Miami last week.  We were on Key Biscayne, and this woman walked by while we were relaxing on the beach.  She was so well put together, especially for being on the beach.  Even though her look was spot-on, it wasn't precious or overdressed.  She wore a casual, floral print dress, had her sunglasses sitting on top of her head, was carrying a largish bone or light silver bag with a crossbody strap.  The bag, even though it was big, was neither blobby nor bulky. It just swung around her body and kind of rested toward the back of her left thigh.  Then, for shoes, I think she had on flipflops or minimal gladiators.  Not sure.

I've been thinking about her outfit all week, and I even sketched it out on paper while we were still at the beach!

I found one dress that kind of represents what she was wearing.  I wonder if you can help me find more dresses that are in the same style.  I'm looking for different prints and colors besides the one I attached here.

Overall, I'm looking for something that will, with ease, go from beach to street.  She was probably wearing it as a coverup, but it was great cuz you couldn't see her swimsuit!

Your assistance is greatly appreciated, as I will be in Miami again soon for a lengthy amount of time.  I don't want to look disheveled or frumpy.  :)

Thanks.

I really like the one you found.  I looked around and found plenty of spaghetti strapped dresses, but none with the ease you described/posted.  It's also tough to find a dress like that at this time of year.

I did find these at max studio:

this comes in other colors too:

Everything but Water has a few that I liked. Most are pretty pricy if you think of them as a cover up, seems less shocking to think of them as dresses. They have a lot of tunics as cover ups that are cute too.

It reminds me a little of Tory Burch dresses (warning, they are pricey for a coverup!). I couldn't find anything in the dresses on her site, but some of the tunics are along the same line.  Maybe you could find a previous season's dress that fits the bill?

This popped up on HauteLook this AM.  It's in the Vroom blowout section.

Thank you. I went back and started looking at coverups instead of dresses, and I found ones that are cut similar to what that girl was wearing. Funny, it was so nice, I thought it was an actual dress!  Thanks for helping!
