Rain boots
Permalink Closed

I have never been a fan of rainboots, but I really need a pair so that I don't ruin my nice shoes. I saw a girl wearing olive green ones that I thought were kind of cute but I'm not sure where she got them.  I'm pretty open about color but really want to avoid anything too bright and any kind of print that looks too child-like.  Has anyone seen any recently?

American Eagle has some solid, subdued colors on their website (yellow and brown)

Check it outCheck it out

And some with prints... cherries, but not too childish, IMO

Check it out(also in red and in blue)

I personally am a fan of the J Crew printed wellies with little terriers on them (probably not what you're looking for)

Would black rain boots look all right with jeans or do you think I should a color? I found both pink and black pairs that I like but I feel like black would be more versatile.

I think black ones would be a lot more easier to use with outfits. And pink would go with black or brown clothing. But I personally think I would pick black ones!

These are my favorite wellies I've ever seen:

I would never wear rainboots out to town.  I bought some last fall and I wear them while washing my car.  Not the most comfy either, you have to wear thick socks and be able to tuck your pants in.

Oh, I LOVE rainboots! It hardly ever rains here, though, and when it does, it's definitely not all day.

These are my favorite too, Stephanie:
