they are so hot, i can't wait to get them!  i can wear them now while it's still hot out and later, with colored or textured tights.

Now I'm curious - I thought hose /tights with open toed shoes was a faux pas? Just checking...if it's not, then I may have more tights / shoes options than I previously thought.

I think nude pantyhose is a faux pas. I like the idea of bright or patterned tights because it's obviously breaking the rules (sort of ironic).

hey alb, i miss you.   i swear i need to come and see you guys, and hope to do that some time soon.  thanks for the compliment; my friends think they are so me.  they are BCBG Girls and i have one pair of BCBG and a few BCBGirls so they should probably fit about the same.  the heels are high though -- 4.25 in.  but since you know me, you know i'm quite short but can usually rock some pretty high heels.  call me some time.  love to all.  how are you liking being back at work?  i know it's hard.  email me when you can from work so i'll have your new addy.

Hey Misty - I have those heels in green...and I love them.  They are actually surprisingly comfortable for such high heels.  And thanks for the suggestion of wearing them with colored tights...l will def try that!

I have those in silver! :) I looove them. Can i wear them with funky tights in the fall in silver, do you think? I was thinking even just black opaque tights might be kinda cool with them... Hmm.

Thanks, girls -- glad you liked my idea.  I was just trying to find a way to wear them from now thru Fall.  plus, i love funky tights, and any chance i get to showcase them, i jump on with both feet. 


Tara - I would love them in green too - did you buy them recently?


mandajeanie - yes, your silver ones would look great with black opaque or a bright color for a funky look. royal blue, yellow, fuchsia -- any bright color would pop against the silver and add interest to jeans or wide-leg pants where your toes just peek out.  or, for a more subdued yet still funky look, try navy, dk purple or the it color this season - teal.

I did get them recently - but from the sales rack in Kaufmann's, which is a May Company Store.  They were super cheap - I think ~ $40.

Ooh you kill me. Mine were closer to $100, but I bought them in January. I'm normally a TJ Maxx/Filenes girl for shoes, but I couldn't help myself!
