OK...I broke the shopping ban. I am incapable of staying on them so I give up. Anyway, I bought this chocolate brown cami from Walmart It is so beautiful in person. Can you girls help me build a work appropriate fall outfit around it? I teach in a community college so almost anything goes. However, I do need something that will give coverage on the shoulders. Thank you.
If it isn't too terribly low cut on you, I think it would be just fine. Especially if you paired it all with a tweed skirt or pants - maybe it would make the silkiness of the cami more acceptable?

I think that sounds like a really pretty outfit. It would be perfect with round-toe pumps!
what about with this sweater. i loooooooooove the color.
it's $68.
i just got back from browsing my favorite shoe store and found:
for $68! i didin't get them though because i still the yellow ones.
i feel like the shoes could work with a ton of outfits and the sweater is a beautiful color and decent price.

I am going to try it with the red cardi. I just had an awful experience one time at work involving a cami I wore with a cropped cardigan. Basically, my boss (in a nice way) pointed out that it wasn't appropriate. However, it was much more lingerie looking than this one.
Honestly, I think the shape of this one is well within 'appropriate' attire. And by adding in an opposite texture (like tweed or herringbone) that it would take away even further from the fact that you're wearing a silky camisole - they kind of cancel each other out in a way. I also like Nylabelle's round toe pump suggestion. As long as everything else in your outfit says 'sweet' instead of 'sexy', I think you'd be fine .

I really like shopaholic's outfit suggestion. It incorporates the less expensive version of the jacket you wanted. It's also such a beautiful teal color that would look amazing with the chocolate cami!
