first, i've seen those shoes irl and they're gorgeous. as far as cole haan g-series i have a mixed review. i have a pair of heels from them, the heel part is very comfy, and they have cushioning at the bottom which helps a lot. however the actual footbed part is very narrow so they pinch my feet even though i got them in my size, though i should add that my feet are on the wide side.
i was actually really into those shoes too! and almost about to get them.
i saw them in person and thought the bronze was to die for. honey's description of them is really true to life. the footbed does seem shallow side (mind you i have baked potatoes for feet!.. short, chubby, and round).
i am thinking about getting these instead (but maybe not because i might save my benjis for something i need more). but these flats are AWESOME. they are Hollywould and sheer genius. don't let the nutso ribbon distract you (you can take them off). the leather is super soft and the most brilliant part is that the sole is THICK, unlike most ballet flats, and it has driving moc pebbles on the bottom of the shoe. usually, my foot looks so fat and disgusting in ballet flats, but these shoes are ridiculously flattering.

Thank you SO much for posting these....I am seriously in L-O-V-E. I have been looking for a pair of ballet flats that flatter my feet for 800 years. Oh, and I too have short chubby feet with little baby toes that look like sausages weird, I know......
When I was in college, my roommates used to get drunk and beg to see my toes b/c they called them the "Snausages" after those gross dog snacks.......disturbing....
I really like the Cole Haan G series and love those shoes you posted, they are just what I've been looking for. Dressier then a sneaker but still comfy. I'm going to go try them on this weekend!

Tara - your comment made me laugh! If you are interesting in getting those flats, check them out on Zappos. But make sure that you check the images of thes shoes you're interested in. Some have the pebbles and some don't (shoes from previous seasons don't seem to have them).
Thanks dot- I may look into those as well. Collette- or anyone- if you try these on, please post a review!!
