The bf and I are going to Peru in January or February. So I have to decide pretty quickly what kind of things I want to wear there before all the summer stuff is cleared out of stores. Since it will be difficult to find shorts in January, I am looking for some now.


I'm not really a shorts person (I have really skinny legs, I don't really like wearing things that show off my knees), I restrict them solely to the beach. But it will be very hot while we are there so should I suck it up and go for shorts? What kind of outfits can I make with shorts? Do you like either of these? Should I just forget them and wear skirts?

i'm very into short shorts right now (not daisy dukes, more dress shorts) so i definitely think you should go for it.  have you seen the gwen stefani "cool" video? i think many of her outfits in that video would be perfect for a vaca in peru.  have fun!


oh, is there a club monaco store by you?  crystal showed me some really cute shorts there but unfortunately they weren't my size.
