STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

I'm looking for a pair of dark brown and black dress boots to wear with cropped pants and skirts this fall. I have the Banana Republic Mid Calf Pointed Toe Boots from last fall to wear with jeans and pants.  However, I was thinking that a Round Toe may look better with the crops and skirts.  Opinions??  Also, I am having trouble finding a pair that stay up.  Most that I try on slouch around the ankle which looks horrible!!  Any cute suggestions, I don't want to spend a ton (I mostly wear pants in the fall and winter and my pointed toe boots will be worn 80% off the time).  I saw these on the Banana website for $198 - But since I need both brown and black, I would REALLY like to find a cheaper version!! Thanks!
