Large shoulders, help
Permalink Closed

Looking for some advice:

I have very broad shoulders. I am not however blessed in the chest. I wear a 38 b (so hard to find). In shirts I have to by an xl or 12/14. I wear about a 6 in pants though. I feel like nothing fits me at all. I never feel like I am in porportion. I hate, hate, altering shirts. (cannot find anyone good or reasonably priced). So I walk around either uncomfortable or looking way bigger than am through the stomach.

Does anyone else out there have this problem or have any cute outfit suggestions.

Thanks for the help, I'm done complaining now.

i hear ya- i sometimes HATE my huge shoulders (all that swim team when i was young). lately i have been wearing strapless dresses, which i used to dread. the beauty of strapless is that i don't have to buy a size up to make it fit around the shoulders- and if youre worried about exposing those shoulders- fear not! i recieved MANY compliments on my fine athletic shoulders, even tho i was afraid i looked too butch or disproportionate. strapless, halters (even for us small-busted  girls!) and camisoles have been my godsend this summer. sorry i don't have lots of pictures and advice for you, suits and jackets rarely fit perfectly.
