In case the ones I ordered work, I know they'll have to be cut off.  I'm short!   I will be having the orginal bottoms hemmed back on like I did on my Citizens.  BUT I was thinking the True Religions had something different with the seam or something??  Anyone know?

Yeah, you might have some problems with the twisted seams.....I think someone here posted that after hemming, their twisted seams were no longer even (?).....

I had mine shortened and the original hem re-attached...and they looked fine...find good tailor.

yeah, the inseam on those is not a straight line down the middle of your leg, it like curves towards the back.  i don't think reattaching the old hem would work, but i don't think you really need to do it at all.

i had one pair hemmed, and just asked them to use the same color thread--it looks exactly the same as the original hem did.  i don't really understand why people pay extra for the original hems, unless they are really frayed or something special--on a regular pair of jeans, i think they look exactly the same.
