What is the benefit of using an electric razor over a regular old razor?  I've always been curious.

it's faster, you can ususally use them wet or dry (no need to get in the shower), usually no nicks or cuts.  but on the downside, it's usually not as close of a shave.  i had one but dropped it only a few months after i got it & it broke!

Ohh.  I don't like the part about not getting a close shave.  That is #1 on my shaving importance list.  Thanks, Crystal!

I like mine.  Not as close shave but much better on the skin.  I use Suave skin smoothing shave minimizing lotion everyday  .  Gives you much softer less noticeable hair.  I shave maybe once a week.  It helps to have blonde hair since you really can't see it at all.
