i posted this jacket earlier this week:



it wasn't available in my size online so i went into my tiny, little local br, they didn't have it but called a larger store in my area and did a charge-send for me. i got the jacket yesterday and i love it — although i was a little pissed that they charged me $11.00 shipping (j.crew always waives my shipping when i order or do a charge-send from their store), when i could have got free shipping online had they had my size. anyway, so i go on the br site today and notice the jacket is now on sale (i paid full price just 3 days ago), but also NO LONGER AVAILABLE (in big red letters).

can i get the sale price? or do their online and store prices vary (grrrr, i don't like that) i never shop at br so i am not familiar with their policies. any advice?

Oh I would call for sure and tell them what happened.  They should give you back the difference since you just bought it and now it's on sale.  First, I'd try calling the BR you got it from and if they can't help, call the Customer Service # @ 888-277-8953.  HTH!  Let us know what happens.

i just got off the phone with the 888# customer service and she told me that i just need to go back to my local store with my receipt and have them call customer service to verify my purchase price to get the adjustment.

yay, it's $58 cheaper on sale too!

i know... it's is fabulous and unexpected!

now i can put that $58 towards the blousy sleeve top i'm searching for to wear under the jacket... which i'll be bugging you girls for ideas in my next post.

where are all the blousy sleeve tops? i've only seen one or two out there so far. need more options!

It seems like you should be able to get a price adjustment. that jacket was actually still available online (and on sale) a few days ago- I checked.


hotcocoa, how is the sizing on it? I love that jacket and am debating whether I should hunt for it on ebay, but I find some br tops & jackets a little big.
