Irfanview-like software for Mac?

Can anyone recommend something similar to irfanview to use on a mac?

That seems to be the only downside I've experienced since switching to a mac... fewer choices in software.

I am not sure if it will work for what you want, but look into GIMP.

I ended up putting Irfanview on my pc laptop, and moving the photos back and forth with a thumb drive. It just seemed easier than learning something new for the moment.
