Last year, Gap had the best clothes for fall! I loved the faux fur vests and the tweed bags, but unfortunatly I didn't even buy any of it!! I was starting college, and I didn't have a lot of money to spend on clothes, so I never did a real fall shopping and now I regret it! They had these great sweaters with faux fur inside the hood and really cute soft sweaters with sequin details. they just had so many great things, and this fall it looks like they have nothing!
They need to bring back Sarah Jessica Parker and bring back the really cute and stylish clothes!
I read an article a few months back about how Gap is respositioning itself (again...what else is new?). And the article mentioned that the more trendy styles that had been seen recently in the Gap were going to be replaced by more classic looks.
I think they'll lose more customers then they'll gain. I know that 80% of my wardrobe was/is from the Gap. But lately Banana, Limited, and Anthro are taking over!
I am not going to Gap anymore. I just realized that, with the exception of one pair of capris and the Favorite Ts, I NEVER keep anything I buy there -- it either falls apart or fades or gets shapeless.

I quit buying from Gap (with *very* few exceptions) years ago. I just don't find that the quality is there, and esp. in fall / winter, some of their stuff is pretty pricey for what it is (IMO). Same reason I don't buy too much from ON either.
I used to LOVE BR, but lately (last 3-4 seasons), they can't tempt me with much either (except their shoes).
