To be honest, there's something about them that's just not doing it for me. Like I feel like the lace starts too far down the toe or something. And where's the bow?

I agree. But, in general I'm not a fan of Tsubo so take that for what it's worth.

I'm not liking the combo of the laces and the platform. And I agree that the laces start too far down on the toe. The color is nice though.

I think they are cute and I like the color. I've never tried the brand though but if they are supposed to be comfortable and that is what you are looking for, I'd probably give them a try

And, to answer your question, I think there is something 'off' with the pair in question. I too would assume it's the laces starting at the toe. I am also weirded out that the laces don't tie.

Thanks for the alternatives Boots, but I'd need something with a vamp low enough it wouldn't swallow my ankle and at the very least a rubber sole - somethng I could put some serious miles on without thinking about too much. I have fussy feet, but I'm tired of wearing flats when I go out!

I may order them to try on in person, but it'll have to wait because I blew all of my budget on ordering jeans to try this month ... ashamed
