I just wanted to vent....sorry, but i still freaking really really sore from being hit by that car, not to mention bruised all over.  it just stinks cuz i had to work thurs.-sun. at the hospital lifting patients, etc... and today is the first day i could really rest.  i did get checked out and everything is fine, i just want to punch that guy though.  grrr.  ok, i feel better.  thanks for letting me vent ladies.  tomorrow i will try to find a new bike to replace my old one. 


do you think getting a massage would be a good idea (thursday) or is that too soon?

oh, i am sorry you still are sore!  ((((((hugs))))))  i hope you start to feel better soon...


did you ever catch the guy who did it to you?  i can't remember if you said you got the license plate number or not.


i think a massage would be too soon.  when i am sore, they usually make me feel worse- not better- the next day.... i would wait a little while longer before going!

S.O.O.L.  and out about $600 for the bike.  yeah, as much as i feel a million knots in my back, i think a massage would be too soon too.  wishful thinking.  i just hope that his karma is awful for awhile....

Oh, I'm so sorry!! Can you believe, I ALSO got hit by a car earlier this year! If anyone's familiar with boston and the masshole driviers, I was running to catch the T (because I was late to class) and I got hit by a driver on commonwealth avenue. I was really lucky, just got a little banged up, but had to go through the whole ER ordeal. I look back on it now with a big laugh, but I know how scary it is to go through something like that, even if you don't get too seriously hurt.

I hope you're doing okay! If you get a little down about it, just think to yourself "Damn, I must be one tough chick. I can basically perform all my own stunts now!" And if anyone asks you about your bruises, just say "You should have seen the other guy!" lol, feel better!! Take pain relievers and get lots of rest. Just be glad that you don't have to climb into a lofted bed when you're all sore!

If you need some cheering up, I got lots of funny stories about my accident! I just don't want to hyjack your thread

Oh that sucks!! Take a bubble bath, or if you can, get in a jacuzzi, and feel better!
