transitional clothing??

Every year during september and october, I have the worst time getting dressed.  It is past the time in my area of the country for summer clothing, but it is not cold enough for sweaters and blazers.  UGGGGGGGGGH!!! I feel like every year I just "get by" until it gets cold enough.  I feel like a fashion victim during those two months.

Can you girls suggest some transitional clothing outfits?  I would appreciate it so much.

I feel your pain.  Except I suffer for three months (november also).  I don't really have any outfit suggestions, but here are some pieces to consider.

Satin Tie Bolerowetseal (comes in several colors)

Satin Tie Bolero another color

also that top you posted in another post from forever21 would look good under a cardigan.

Fall is my favorite season but the hardest to dress for!!  I either freeze or get too hot.  I have been on the hunt for cute cotton sweaters, which are surprisingly hard to find (wool is usually too warm).  I plan to wear them over some of my short-sleeve and sleeveless tops.  Here's what I've got so far, I've already worn the blouses a few times:

silk isles blouse

lotus shrugchampagne tank

In grey, to wear over a beater.

It's easy to dress the inbetween summer/fall.  I just wear my top, nothing I could get hot in, and always at least carry with me a cardigan or blazer/jacket.  I have at least the same amount of cardigans and jackets as I do tops, I get cold easily so this part of me is always looking for warm things to buy!

My favorite is to wear a skirt (which is near impossible for me when it's really cold) with layers on top. The outfit still feels like summer, but I don't get cold. But if there's a lot of AC still, bare legs can be bad, so jeans and cute tanks with cardigans works better. Layering tops over dresses works well - gives you an extra layer and more outfit options.

Twin sets are great, I find. I also like fine-knit sweaters and heavier tees, these days with 3/4 length sleeves. It's also a good time of year to carry around a pashmina and wrap yourself in the evening.

Since the weather is still hot, how about the same type of clothing, like t-shirts, blouses, skirts, etc. but in fall colors?
