OMG-First I must holla to the MI girls and say what an awesome town Birmingham is! I had never been there and the Anthro there is huge and the town looks so cute! I loved the little cottage houses and the downtown area. I went to Henry Ford/Imax today and decided to make it a shopping trip as well, like always.
Okay, HB, the MI anthro def. lied to you because the sweater you wanted there a few weeks ago was there today-MANY is a size small. Why would they tell you there were none? There were probably a lot more when you wanted it too. And only for $19.99! Amyhow, they were kinda snotty to me too. No one said hello or asked if they could help me. Oh well, I just thought I'd share!

hey - you made it to my neck of the woods! and my anthro! yeah - the girls that work there are young and definitely in need of customer service training, but have always been pretty nice to me. they really don't ask people on the floor if you need help (which is fine by me), but you can go to the counter and ask them and they have always been nice and helpful. maybe that's the way all anthro's are - I can't really recall having a sales assoc. approach me on the floor at any I have been to.
did you happen to see the couture exhibit at henry ford?

No! The couture exhibit ended a couple days ago-but I did see the Jackie O collection in Chicago when I was there which is probably enough for the bf. I really want to come up to Birmingham sometime and spend the day shopping. I didn't have enough time this time around. Oh, and I saw my dream house on Pierce street if you know where that's at. I wish I needed/could buy a house at this point in my life because it was SO frickin cute.

yeah, well, a cute little house on pierce will set you back $800,00 - $1,000,000... real estate is ungodly expensive in birmingham - especially downtown. there are 1000 square foot apartments for around $1,000,000 - it's crazy...

Yeah, I had a feeling they didn't really look very hard. I had the same feeling when I called the Santa Monica store after Lilykind told me about them there. I even tried e-mailing their CS and got no response. I am not overly thrilled with the service at that co. But thank you for checking for me!
