I think they're cute boots, but I think they're a little short to wear w/ a short skirt. Seems to be too much leg in between so it's out of proportion. I think they'd be darling w/ some cuffed jeans, though. Cuff them so they're just above the top of the boot.

I don't like fishnets AT ALL, so I won't be suggesting those.

i actually like them with the skirt! tres cute!!! and you know what fishnets would look awesome with it? the nude ones that are really more like a mesh that HUE has at nordies... they are my absolute fave look b/c people "think" you're wearing fishnets but they aren't really sure. its a great look for fall/winter... (i buy them in bulk at the begining of each season)

i also like what miss mee suggested- wearing them with cuffed pants (or even cropped wide leg pants)

I like those boots with a skirt or cropped pants. I wouldn't wear it with fishnets though, as I would seem like a tart, but you may be able to pull it off. Great deal on the boots!

I like the boots barelegged or with nude fishnets like the ones Bex suggested.

And I love the bag!

How do you like the bag? I saw it in Aldo a few months ago and momentarily considered it since I couldn't bear to spend the 2 grand on the real Chloe. Have you used it yet and is it holding up well? Do you think they still have it? I saw that Target made a knockoff too but I don't remember how much their version is. If you've seen that one, could you pls compare?

I *love* the boots with the outfit you posted! They look great and I think you can get a lot of wear out of them. Not sure about the whole fishnet thing, so I'll leave that to other, more daring ST'ers. *s*

I would go with a denim mini, or the cuffed pants look. I think you either need to show lots of leg between the boots and skirt, or none. The fishnets would look cute with the mini.

yay! i did good!:) bex.. those were the exact fishnets i was thinking of! so funny...

truth be told, i'm not much of a skirt person, i just feel funny with my legs showing, so i prob will wear em more with cropped or cuffed pants

carmenb- the boots are from aldo- i was pretending to be on a shopping ban for a little but it didn't work so now im only buying things that i find at a good deal that are on my fall list (ie boots, bag, 2 anthro short sleeve sweaters, etc) i think i got the last pair from my aldo, but it is definitely worth checking out. they had a lot of summer shoes on sale also.

vanessa: about the bag, i haven't used it yet- got it yesterday- but it seems fairly sturdy and like it will hold up well. i am obsessed with the chloe, but as a 21 yr old college student, i'm lucky that i can even buy a magazine with pictures of it!:) i think that up close, the discerning eye will be able to notice that the bag isnt exactly quality leather- if it is even leather at all, actually, but if you aren't examining it, it is a decent replacement. for me, it works, but i know that you have an amazing bag collection so it may not stand up against the rest of them. the brown multi one was definitely the best, least cheap looking of the bags- the white one and the gold and brown one didn't look nearly as nice, imo. they were also on sale, though, while mine was not. the SA's said they were selling out of them, so if you do decide you want it, i would go soon, or call the Aldo at Easton in Columbus b/c they had one left last night! sorry that was so long!

I like those boots! I think they would be cuter with a fuller flowy skirt. That bag is so gorgeous.

I was like eh with the boots- then i saw them on. FAB!

However, I think you could wear a lot of different things with them. And what I am getting from the comments, it just depends on your style. Have fun with them!
