Has anyone ever challenged Zappos on their price protection?  I want a pair of Terry Baby Phat Sandals.  They are $56 at Zappos & on sale for $36 at Macys, but Macys has outrageous shipping costs.  If I order them from Zappos & email them the link to the lower price at Macy*s, will the match the price to reflect the $36 or $45, the total including their shipping costs???

technically, they should, although I would call them vs. email them. Twice, I've emailed and asked for a pricematch on something from another site, and they told me both times that I had to add that site's shipping cost to the price. I have never heard of that happening over the phone.


Also, I think they are supposed to beat the other price by 10%.

Yeah, I recommend calling too.  I have had price adjustments via e-mail and phone, and doing it by phone was MUCH less painless.
