does this really take off your makeup and cleanse? man, i am so asking soooo many questions! haha slightly embarassed.

It definitely cleanses...gets rid of junk without making me feel like I stripped my face with paint thinner. It removes all my makeup now, but I don't wear much eye makeup anymore. I wear eyeshadow applied wet and mascara. In the event that there's a wee bit left, it comes right off when I use the DDF glycolic toner.


When I wore heavy charcoal eyeliner(MAC Shadestick in Sharkskin), it removed about 90% and left a bit of glitter...nothing I couldn't get off with a baby wipe.

Love this stuff! It takes off all of my makeup and even if I get some in my eyes it doesn't sting.  And it doesn't dry out my face like other cleansers do.

Love, love, love this cleanser.  Best I've ever used.  It cleans my skin w/o leaving it dry and takes of waterproof mascara.  Plus I love the scent.

purity users- how long does the $20 8 oz size last you?  I see the 16 oz size for $32 and the 32 oz size for $40 at Nordstrom, which I know is cheaper per ounce- but i have a 16 oz size of cetaphil that I've used for a couple of years, so I'm worried about going too big and would like to spend less at once.  If it only last two months, maybe i'd reconsider.

I abuse product like crazy and 16 oz of Purity lasts me 5-6 months.

A little goes a long way with this stuff.  I usually have an 8 oz. bottle because I get it in a kit.  It lasts me a few months.
