I need help with a jacket/blazer

I am wanting to find a blazer to wear with this top I have on in this picture.  It is hard to see but the top has a tie right at the neck.  It is not as dark as it appears in the picture--actually it is the same color as the pinkish-purple stripe at the bottom of the skirt.  I really don't want a denim blazer, but I am having problems finding something that will work other than that.  I had thought about a very dark purple blazer and also I had thought about a jacket with a mandarin collar, but I am afraid that will get in the way of the bow.  As you can tell, I am at a loos.  Can someone help me?

You're probably better off with a fairly traditional cut with two or three buttons - the V of the collar will work well with the bow. As to color - if the skirt is not too white-white, a natural linen color might work. Navy would be a traditional conservative approach, while olive green or a mid to deep brown would be more stylish.

oliviacw, I briefly thought about an olive blazer but I wasn't sure how it would look.  Do you think it would look ok if I wore khaki colored trousers with the top and the olive blazer?

Oh, yeah! I have a pantsuit in a similar olive tweed, and it looks excellent with a deep rose silk shell - I think the pinky-plum color of your top has a similar feel.
