table help - a challenge

Ok ladies, I need your help finding a table. I need one of those console tables. I believe they are also called sofa tables. Anyhoo, the long, narrow ones about the length of a loveseat.


My style is a contemporary (not the scary "Beetlejuice" kind) mondern minimalistic one. I'd prefer have a glass top, and also prefer that it have a shelf near the bottom. If it has any wood, it needs to be blonde or expresso colored finish, but I'm not picky on the actual wood it's made from. Right now I have mostly maple stained natural and some stained really dark.


It's purpose will be to take up space between my front door and the picture window. I'd like to put a lamp on it, and have a place to drop the mail, and maybe even a candy dish. It's also to prevent me from dumping everything in my arms at the front door.


No price restraints.
