I'm going to be going to the BlissLabs spa for the first time in August...the one in SoHo. I am soooo excited. What are your favorite procedures? And what do you not recommend? Any tips or advice at all...? TIA

go early...... and take your time. you can check in early (like over an hour before hand). take advantage of the shower, suana, and the lounge (with cheese & crackers and cookies and brownies). i've only had nail, waxing, and facial service at the SoHo, so my comments only extend to those things. if you're getting a facial, you meet with the esthetician and they will suggest treatments that they think would be good. i'm sure because skincare is their life and most women don't have perfect skin, when they see you they may want to suggest a million treatments (definitely happens when they see me!), anyway, they are not there to pressure you or sell you stuff.. just to help you with your skin. i've gone in many times and said, "well i can't afford to spend more than X.." and then they suggest stuff around that.

tip well, and if you buy a blisscertificate ahead of time (for any amount) and use it after your treatment.. you get 20% any BlissLabs products.

also if you don't care about being downtown, try the w hotel location. it's big, the lounge is nice, but the locker room is really great. nice showers and suana. there is also a gym if you're interested.
