Ok gals, I need all the help I can get. A friend's last minute wedding is on the horizon...two weeks away and I need to find a dress. I'm in the mood for something showstopping. I'm done trying to be conservative and blend in. I'd like to keep it under $200 and of course I need to be able to get it in store quickly. I'm 5'8'', generally a 0 or 2 with a pretty straight frame. At this point I'm open to anything...long, short, etc. The only real stipulation is that I don't do strapless. Please please please suggest away! :)
I like the first one but it reminds me of the pink dress you already have...the Indian/sari looking one with gold. I know the top is different but the style is similar.
Suasoria...Wow...you have a great memory and a great eye! I definitely had an 'wow, I must post here often' moment! I was actually considering wearing the pink one to this wedding!
Btw...please keep the recommendations coming girls! :) I tried the Adrianna one on yesterday and sadly it was not for me fitwise. :( I think part of my problem is that I have an idea in my head of what I want, but nothing similiar is available anywhere, so I'm having a hard time focusing on anything else.

What's in your head?

I so do not want to admit to it...but in my head...peacock. Yup...peacock. I saw a picture of this gorgeous ornate (and of course thousands of dollars) peacock feather dress and became completely obsessed. So I've been hunting for something that either has the peacock colours and pattern, or actual feather adornment. Crazy, right? Someone needs to talk me down from the insanity! :)

I love peacock stuff too! The colors are just so pretty. Anyways, I remembered this Tbags dress I came across on bluefly a few months ago. There's only one left. Not sure if you're going to like it or not but it is peacock! I can't get a larger pic to show up, so defiintely go the site to get a better look. HTH!

not for the wedding- but since its a peacock feather print i figure it would post it in case you are interested (the print is on other items too)

That's because I'm under your bed snooping. Oh hai dust bunneh.
How about something in that blue/teal color with peacock feather earrings?
ETA here's an idea

I may actually wind up going this route. I was initially hoping to find something long and flowy and peacock-y...which technically, the earrings are! ;) So I could go with a sassy bright cocktail dress and fab shoes, right? I'm going to go browse the online earring shoppingness for a good pair, and then I just need to find a dress in a similiar colour but not strapless. Thanks Suasoria! You really hit the nail on the head with this suggestion. Muchly appreciated! :)
