I got her two different tomato plants and one sweet (not spicy) chili pepper. I potted them in simple plastic containers and planted basil around each. It's cute - instant veggie garden.

I buy her Cubs tickets every year. She loves going to the game with all her family. And yes, my mom is a 75 year old sports nut.

I was also going to print out a photo of the whole family that we had taken at her birthday dinner this year. Imagine my surprise seeing the photo already printed out and framed on her mantle last week. Apparently I need to download all my photos before letting my dad borrow my camera from now on....

no My mom is so UNIQUE! LOL She asked for those Skechers exercise shoes....them babies are NOT cheap, but I found a similar pair for $50.00 cheaper. I just hope they do the same thing as the name brand.disbelief

They've been growing nicely since I potted them and they have a ton of blossoms. The whole gift was less than $20 since I had the big nursery containers laying around.

My husband will be cooking breakfast at my parents house for Mday. I will hopefully find and give her her first spanish vegan book.
Lunch will be at my MILs with all her sons there. She trying to eat healthier for once in her life, and also trying the vegan life. She's already read up on it, but I did notice she needs cute lunch bags/box for work. So I will be looking into getting her that.
Something they need and not too expensive, because we are watching the $
