Fall....

As far as colors for fall, I think that brown, teal, deep blue (not navy) and purple will be big. I think that we're going to be seeing a reincarnation of summer's bermuda shorts in fall fabrics and patterns (tweed, plaid, ect). I also think that wedges will continue to be popular. Shrugs still seem to be going strong as well.

Just wanted to add, that I think full skirts will also be hanging around for another season, as well as turquoise and wood jewelry and big beaded, long necklaces. It really seems like the fall trends are all just extensions of summer, only in fall colors and fabrics.

Unfortunately, I hear that high-waisted jeans and skinny jeans will be in - which I don't think are very flattering. I'm also seeing a lot of purples, browns, and dark teals.

I'm seeing a lot of plaids, tweeds, and menswear inspired looks. cropped dress pants with tall boots. very "british countryside"

This is so funny because i think maybe i just see what I want to see? I'm seeing lots of lace & I saw some runway shots with long embellished cardigans, which I love so I hope there will be a wide assortment for me to chose from....

Also Marie Claire's August issue had "10 looks you'll want this fall" & although I don't really follow magazine trends (although the pictures are from runway shows), I always like to see what they have to say - you might want to take a peek at it.
