I am in dire need of a graduation dress!   It has to be white (not ivory) and floor length.

I dont want a wedding dress-dress, i.e. poofy, long train, etc.


So far, I've found these 2...

It seems like only Nordstroms has simple white gowns.


I am a little hesitant to go to a wedding store to get a dress, though I may end up having to.



Do you all have any ideas or suggestions for dresses?

Jcrew has great dresses, but they are either unbelievably expensive or ivory. I love your suggestions! Thanks!

I am not too fond of a halter gown, it doesnt really seem appropriate to me. Is that just me or do you guys agree?

 I'd pick something beach and casual.. its hard to find a long white gown that is not formal.  I looooove the details on the two below esp the second one.

Yep, my wedding dress was actually a bridesmaid dress in white.

I am looking and mostly what I am finding is dresses that are strapless or halter style.

BCBG has some good white dresses.  If you find one you like, try it on at the store an then check ebay if you want to keep the $$ down.
