Has anybody ever had to get their iPod repaired? Mine just blew up. Not really, but it keeps restarting over and over and I can't even shut it off. I've only had it for 6 months and I'm really pissed that it's malfunctioning. I have an Apple Store near me, but I'm assuming they'll want to send it out for repair rather than give me a new one. Any experiences, advice? __________________

if you're within 6 months you can call tech service and they'll repair it for you for free (i'm almost 100% sure) call them and they'll send you a box to ship it to them with, and it is supposed to take about a week. hth. you can try the apple store too, but they might tell you the same thing.
